ALLY - Nurturing Womxn Kinship in the Arts

The journal "ALLY - Nurturing Women Kinship in the Arts" is a peer-to-peer publication that connects female artists and cultural practitioners for the purpose of common concerns and to increase their exposure. The publication appears as a biennial series.

Ծիրան եւ նուռ – Apricot and Pomegranate


A mixture of sweet and bitter catalysts initiated a research trip to Armenia, which led to this publication. It is a collection of five interviews with six Armenian women artists:


Tiezerk / Eliza Baghdiyan and Lusine Mlke-Galstyan, Musicians and Non-profit educators


Lika Zakaryan, Journalist


Nana Manucharyan, Ceramics artist and Ceramics teacher


Lucia Kagramanyan, DJ and Sound Artist


Yeva Muradyan, Photographer and Animation Artist



Issue No.2 & Issue No.3


Issue No. 2 will focus on the topic of plants in the arts. Issue No. 3 is dedicated to the topic of art and parenthood. The previous concept will be continued and supplemented by a bibliography on the respective topic.
